So im settin up to that time and wanted something romantic candle-lighting. The only problem is that I have candles, but also ensures money holdersand im … so I want to use household items such as candlesticks, but has to look cute and creative …. No sticky! Any idea?
You can use many different things to the candle holders … Let your imagination! Melt the candle wax in the container to "stick" of the candle, and then fill the container 1-2 "with a fixative, such as salt (as mentioned above, you can color with dye food if you want something nicer), sugar (can also be colored), sand, small stones and pebbles, potpourri (make sure it does not approach the flame), rice (foodcoloring dye if desired), small sea shells, dirt, or even laundry soap. (Pick any piece of wax and can still used to wash clothes!) Containers that may work are: empty glass condiment bottles, glasses, coffee mugs, napkin stacks (glue them together for safety); canning jars, empty medicine bottles (it's a stretch, but I've seen it), superficial or deep bowls, small bowls of glass, plastic carrying containers (rinse well and set multiple votive or pillar candles in your chosen fixative), etc. Think outside the box and see how creative you can get with "things" you have in your home.
