3 cups of Epsom Salt
1 / 2 cup baking soda
15 drops of your favorite essential oil (or one of the combinations below)
Optional: 10 drops of your choice of color to food
Measure the salt and baking soda in a large glass, ceramic or stainless steel bowl (not plastic – essential oils are absorbed.)
[Three minutes]
Mix salt and baking soda with a metal spoon (a wooden spoon absorbs essential oils.)
[A minute]
Drop in the essential oils and food coloring, placing each small drop in its proper place in the top of the salt.
[Two minutes]
Stir until thoroughly mixed.
